The Practice- A Brief Sketch:

The Health Consulting Practice is a part of Accenture Strategy and focuses on the clients’ most strategic priorities. We help health clients achieve growth and efficiency through technology transformation, aimed at redefining business models using agile methodologies.

 

We provide you with a great learning ground, deep-rooted in Health Business Strategy (Health Payers, Health Providers, Public Health) where you will get an opportunity to advise and work with our key global clients, driving end-to-end transformative strategic value and business growth. As a part of this high performing team, these are some of the initiatives you will drive:

• Digital Public Health: Designing and implementing digital public health programs including disease surveillance, electronic case reporting, health information system (HIS) modernization, and real-time epidemiological reporting for ministries of health and public health agencies.

• Public Health Transformation: Advising governments and health authorities on end-to-end public sector health transformation - spanning operating model redesign, health financing reform, service delivery restructuring, and workforce strategy across EMEA and APAC health systems.

• Community Health & Disease Prevention: Developing community health strategies, primary care strengthening programs, and NCD/communicable disease prevention frameworks that improve population health outcomes and reduce system demand across diverse geographies.

• Interoperability & Population Health Analytics: Supporting clients to build connected health data ecosystems - leveraging HL7 FHIR standards, national health information frameworks, and population health analytics to drive evidence-based policy decisions and improve health equity.

 

Bring your best skills forward to excel in the role:

• Design and lead public health policy reform engagements across national and sub-national health systems, with experience spanning the UK NHS, GCC health authorities, or Australian Commonwealth/state health departments.

• Advise governments and ministries of health on community health strategy, primary care strengthening, aged care and integrated care network design across EMEA and APAC geographies.

• Lead disease prevention and health promotion program design, including non-communicable disease (NCD) strategies, immunization program governance, and communicable disease response frameworks.

• Shape and execute public sector health transformation programs, including operating model redesign, health financing reform, and service delivery restructuring for national and regional health authorities.

• Drive digital public health programs including surveillance system design, electronic disease reporting, health information system (HIS) modernization, and public health data governance.

• Support international development and global health engagements funded by multilateral or bilateral donors (e.g., WHO, World Bank, FCDO, GIZ, ADB), covering health systems strengthening and UHC strategy.

• Demonstrate deep knowledge of regional health policy landscapes including NHS Long Term Plan (UK), Saudi Vision 2030 health pillars, UAE National Health Strategy, and Australian National Preventive Health Strategy.

• Develop high-impact thought leadership on public health trends, policy innovation, and health system performance across EMEA and APAC markets.

• Mentor and develop a team of Analysts and Consultants, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and client impact.

• Demonstrate a team-oriented and collaborative working style, both with clients and those within the organization.

• Effectively convey both high-level and granular information, adjusting messaging to suit ministers, agency officials, clinical leads, and community stakeholders.

• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to convey public health strategy and business value propositions to senior stakeholders.

Public Health Policy & Strategy:

• 5+ years’ experience in public health consulting, government advisory, or health sector strategy across EMEA and/or APAC markets.
• Demonstrated experience working with or advising national health ministries, NHS bodies, GCC health authorities (e.g., MOH Saudi Arabia, DOH Abu Dhabi, DHA Dubai), or Australian health departments or large digital public health transformation programs.
• Strong working knowledge of public health policy frameworks in at least one focus region: UK NHS, Middle East/GCC, or Australia/ANZ.
• Experience in health financing reform, national health strategy development, or public health workforce planning.
• Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree completed; MBA is highly desirable
• Mandatory: Advanced level of English
• Availability to travel may be required.

Community Health & Disease Prevention:

• Track record designing and delivering community health programs, primary care strengthening initiatives, aged care initiatives or NCD prevention strategies.
• Experience with immunization program governance, communicable disease response, or maternal and child health program design.
• Familiarity with health equity frameworks and social determinants of health (SDOH) integration in government health programs.

Public Sector Health Transformation:

• Experience leading operating model redesign, health service delivery restructuring, or health system performance improvement for public sector clients.
• Experience of shaping digital transformation roadmap, orchestrating large programs with multiple vendors and advise public health entities on vendor selection
• Familiarity with national digital health strategies and health information system (HIS) transformation in EMEA/APAC contexts.
• Program management experience for execution of public health transformation programs

International Development & Global Health:

• Experience supporting WHO, FCDO, GIZ, ADB, or bilateral donor-funded health programs.
• Knowledge of UHC frameworks, health systems strengthening methodologies, and monitoring & evaluation design.

Leadership & Advisory:

• Proven ability to engage and influence senior government officials, ministry-level stakeholders, and health authority leadership.
• Strong written communication, executive presentation, and strategic advisory capability across multicultural environments.
