Bloom Energy is seeking a highly organized, discreet, and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Chief Financial Officer. This is a high-visibility role at the heart of the Finance organization, providing critical executive support across a fast-paced calendar of internal leadership, Board, investor, and customer engagements.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned executive support professional who thrives in a high-growth public-company environment, anticipates needs before they arise, exercises sound judgment with confidential information, and operates as a trusted extension of the CFO. This role partners closely with the broader Finance leadership team, the CEO’s office, the Corporate Secretary, Investor Relations, and external stakeholders including Board members, investors, and bankers.
This role is based in San Jose, CA. This is a full-time, on-site role.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the CFO’s complex and dynamic calendar, including prioritization of internal leadership meetings, Board and Audit Committee preparation, investor engagements, customer meetings, and team operating cadences.
- Coordinate and book domestic and international travel — flights, hotels, ground transportation, visas, and detailed itineraries — and manage seamless changes when plans shift.
- Prepare, process, and reconcile expense reports, corporate card transactions, and travel reimbursements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CFO, including Board members, investors, analysts, bankers, auditors, and senior executives.
- Coordinate logistics for quarterly earnings preparation, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and Board and Audit Committee meetings in close partnership with Investor Relations and the Corporate Secretary.
- Draft, edit, and format communications, presentations, and meeting materials with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism; handle highly confidential financial and strategic information with absolute discretion.
- Plan and execute Finance leadership team meetings, offsites, and town halls — including agenda development, logistics, catering, and follow-up on action items.
- Track key deliverables, deadlines, and follow-ups across the Finance organization; partner with the CFO’s direct reports to keep priorities visible and on track.
- Partner with the broader EA community at Bloom — particularly the CEO’s EA and other executive support partners — to ensure seamless coordination across the executive team.
- Manage onboarding logistics for new Finance leaders and support team-wide events, recognition, and culture-building activities.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-suite or senior executive leaders, preferably including a CFO or other senior Finance executive.
- Direct experience in a public-company environment is strongly preferred, with familiarity around earnings cycles, Board cadence, and investor-facing activities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars, multi-leg international travel, and high-volume scheduling across time zones.
- Proven track record of handling highly confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion and sound judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft polished correspondence on behalf of the executive.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Zoom, and expense/travel platforms (e.g., Concur).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive — anticipates needs, identifies issues early, and resolves them with minimal direction.
- Calm under pressure, adaptable to shifting priorities, and able to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stakes situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence; able to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Strong personal ethics, intellectual curiosity, and a service-oriented mindset.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of Executive Assistance experience supporting C-suite executives
- College degree preferred
