We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support the financial operations of our personal injury law firm. This role involves managing processing settlement disbursements, tracking case expenses, and assisting with accounts payable/receivable.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices, payments, and expense reportsEnsure compliance with financial regulations and company policiesTrack case costs, liens, and medical expensesManage accounts payable and accounts receivableGenerate invoices and follow up on outstanding balancesAssist with payroll processing and employee reimbursementsSupport month-end and year-end closing proceduresMaintain accurate financial records and case-related documentationPrepare financial reports for partners and managementCommunicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial mattersMaintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field1-2 years of experience in accounting or financeBasic knowledge of accounting principlesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood organizational and time-management skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityEffective written and verbal communication skills
