The Learning & Development Coordinator is a point of contact for employees and managers on all topics related to employee training and development. They will be responsible for the development and delivery of training programs for the company. The Learning & Development Coordinator works in collaboration with the Human Resources department to achieve Learning & Development initiatives.
Essential Functions:
• Create training schedules for all employees, track and create reports on outcomes of training, and maintain training records for the company.
• Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
• Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
• Prepare and present educational materials such as guides, videos, presentations, etc.
• Market company training opportunities to employees and provide information on benefits to encourage participation.
• Provide scheduled updates on employee’s progress towards the annual training requirement.
• Collaborate with outside consultants and training providers to deliver training.
• Manage the LMS to administer, document, track, and report educational courses, certifications, and other qualifying Learning & Development opportunities.
• Develop and implement the Internship Program, including advertising opportunities and hiring of interns.

Job Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to work well independently or as a team.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of 1-3 years education and experience in Learning & Development or related field.
• Industry certifications a plus (e.g. DiSC, CPTD, SHRM-CP).
Salary Range: $60,000- $75,000
The salary range listed reflects a broad scope of potential earnings for this position. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Please note that it is not common for candidates to be hired at the top of the range. We encourage open communication about compensation expectations during the hiring process.
