Reporting directly to the SVP, Health & Services, this leader will shape the strategy and growth agenda for Sam’s Club Health & Wellness, identifying new businesses, services, partnerships, and member experiences that strengthen membership value and drive sales and profitability.What you'll do...
- Develop the long-term Health & Wellness strategy, informed by member needs, industry trends, technology, regulation, and the competitive landscape.
- Lead the business development portfolio from idea through business case, pilot, and scale.
- Identify new growth opportunities across categories, channels, services, partnerships, and markets.
- Build and expand strategic partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem, including payers, providers, health systems, employers, and other industry partners.
- Partner across Operations, Merchandising, Membership, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Insights, and Walmart to bring strategies to life.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on strategy, innovation, and business development.
What You’ll Bring...
- Deep experience in healthcare strategy, business development, partnerships, or growth, ideally across retail health, payer, provider, or broader healthcare ecosystems.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of identifying opportunities, building business cases, and translating strategy into scalable growth.
- Experience developing and managing payer and provider partnerships, including navigating complex, multi-stakeholder relationships.
- Exceptional executive presence and the ability to influence and align senior leaders across functions and organizations.
- A strong understanding of healthcare trends, consumer needs, emerging business models, and the regulatory environment.
- Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams through ambiguity and change.

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $320,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
