The Opportunity
This is a high-impact interim leadership opportunity to shape and lead Finance Business Partnering across Landmark. Working directly with Business Unit Leaders, senior leadership and the Chief Financial Officer, you will turn complex financial and operational performance into clear commercial insight, constructive challenge and decisive action. You will combine leadership of the partnering team with hands-on support for key business areas, helping the organisation strengthen financial discipline, improve performance and make commercially informed decisions at pace.
The role will involve:
- Leading, coaching and developing the Finance Business Partnering team, setting clear expectations for quality, pace, commercial focus and stakeholder impact.
- Partnering with Business Unit Leaders, senior leadership and the Chief Financial Officer to provide insightful analysis, recommendations and constructive commercial challenge.
- Leading partnering input into planning, budgeting and forecasting, ensuring assumptions, risks, opportunities and actions are robust and clearly understood.
- Translating financial and operational performance into concise, forward-looking insight that supports strategy, business goals and Group priorities.
- Supporting revenue growth, margin improvement, cost discipline and profit delivery by identifying practical actions and prioritising the highest-value opportunities.
- Raising standards across business cases, investment appraisal, benefits tracking, reporting, forecasting and commercial decision support.
About You
You are a commercially minded senior finance leader who combines strong technical expertise with the credibility to influence at executive level. You can simplify complexity, challenge constructively and build trusted relationships, while giving your team the clarity and support to deliver at their best. Comfortable operating at pace, you bring sound judgement, personal accountability and a continuous-improvement mindset.
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant senior-level experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance or FP&A.
- A strong track record of leading, coaching and developing Finance Business Partners or comparable commercial finance teams.
- Excellent commercial acumen and analytical capability, with the ability to turn complex financial data into clear executive-level insight.
- Hands-on experience of budgeting, forecasting, performance management, business case review, investment appraisal and KPI tracking.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, together with confident use of management reporting tools; Power BI or similar experience would be advantageous.
- An influential and credible communicator who can present recommendations clearly, challenge senior stakeholders constructively and build strong working relationships.

- First-stage video interview (in person) at the Exeter office with the Line Manager and a member of the People team. This stage may include a presentation.
