Our mission at HubSpot is to help millions of organisations grow better. As a Contract Manager at HubSpot, you will own the commercial success of your accounts by identifying expansion opportunities and growing customer investment through value-led conversations.
You will partner closely with customers to understand their goals, uncover growth opportunities and drive retention through effective renewal strategies. Your role will also involve proactively identifying customer risk and using data-driven insights to create strong renewal outcomes. This role blends consultative customer engagement with commercial ownership in a fast-paced, AI-first environment.
This role is available for all work preferences @home @flex @office in Australia location.
What You'll Do
- Negotiate value-driven renewals and contract changes while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Proactively identify account expansion opportunities by understanding customer goals and aligning HubSpot's AI-powered solutions to business outcomes.
- Lead customer conversations that combine discovery, value articulation, renewal planning, and commercial execution.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers to execute the contract renewal process and support long-term customer success.
- Forecast renewal outcomes accurately and update deal pipeline effectively
- Contribute feedback on processes, tools, and workflows to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Contract Management team.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- 3 + years of experience in Sales, Customer Success, Account Management or another customer-facing SaaS role.
- Experience leading customer conversations involving renewals, negotiations or complex contract discussions.
- Ability to manage multiple customer engagements in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in renewal and contract-related conversations.
- Experience building trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong prioritisation, organisation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and translate them into commercial outcomes.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Familiarity with customer success, retention or usage-based risk models.
- Experience working with CRM-driven workflows, automation, or AI-enabled tools.
- Experience supporting account growth through cross-sell or upsell motions.
- Experience working within a SaaS subscription or recurring revenue business.
