Description
Description
For Purpose Law Group (FPLG) is a mission-driven law firm dedicated to serving nonprofit organizations, social enterprises, and other purpose-driven entities. Our team of experienced professionals helps organizations navigate complex legal challenges so they can focus on strengthening their communities.
We are seeking a Paralegal to support our attorneys across transactional, advisory, and compliance matters within our nonprofit and transactional practice. This role is central to keeping client matters organized, moving, and on track.
The Paralegal helps prepare legal documents, filings, and correspondence, maintains accurate and complete client records, and coordinates with attorneys and the broader team to make sure work doesn't stall. This is a structured, supervised role, but it is not a passive one: we're looking for someone who takes ownership of their assigned work, spots the next step without being told, and asks questions early rather than letting something sit.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple matters and deadlines at once. Legal or administrative experience is required; prior nonprofit, corporate, or transactional experience is a plus but not a must.
This role does not include litigation, dispute resolution, or estate planning work, and it does not involve providing legal advice or independently managing clients. It's focused, structured legal support work done well.
This is a full-time position, with a flexible work arrangement to be finalized with the right candidate.
If you're organized, dependable, and want your day-to-day work to support organizations doing meaningful things, we invite you to apply.

- Monthly health, wellness, and technology stipends
- Paid time off plus opportunities to earn additional paid time off throughout the year
- Home office reimbursement for remote employees
- Student loan assistance opportunities

Certain benefits and reimbursements are contingent upon maintaining good standing with the firm and meeting established billing expectations and key performance indicators.
