What you'll do:
You will lead and coordinate IT service management practices, with particular emphasis on the stewardship and strategic administration of the ServiceNow platform. You'll guide all aspects of ServiceNow support, platform improvements, and stakeholder engagement, embedding ITIL principles and a culture of service excellence across IT operations.
- Provide strategic leadership and coordination for IT service management practices, ensuring alignment with ITIL standards and business objectives.
- Guide the implementation, enhancement, and governance of service management processes, promoting a collaborative and customer-focused culture.
- Lead the administration, enhancement, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it meets organizational needs and supports business processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and implement platform improvements and new functionalities.
- Manage daily IT support and service desk operations, ensuring consistent service standards and effective resolution of issues.
- Prepare and present insights, reports, and dashboards on IT service performance and ServiceNow utilization.
- Coordinate relationships with service providers and vendors, evaluating performance and contractual compliance.
- Mentor and guide IT support and ServiceNow administration staff, fostering professional development and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT service delivery or support management.
- Hands-on experience with service management platforms such as ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices; certification is desirable.
- Experience managing distributed teams and vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in performance reporting and service analytics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
