Business Intelligence Analyst - San Diego, CA

· Hybrid onsite 3 days/week (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday), Full time M-F 8am-5pm PST

FairSquare has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst. Reporting to the BI Manager, the Junior Business Intelligence Analyst is data-driven individual with excellent analytical skills. This individual utilizes their analytics experience alongside technical tools to complete analytics projects, providing stakeholders information necessary to make business decisions.

Major Responsibilities:

· Respond quickly to inquiries from stakeholders; delivering conclusions with detailed assumptions derived from a clear understanding of the business question

· Develops and maintains advanced and dynamic dashboards in Tableau, and other tools, for the business to self-serve

· Be open to learning and growing -- Accumulates an understanding of the processes that create data as well as how that data is used by applications and users

· Uses data and process knowledge to assist data warehouse development

· The ideal candidate will have the desire to assist with telling stories from the data

· Communicate effectively and instill confidence in produced deliverables

· Ability to manipulate data from multiple sources, developing assumptions where needed, to drive business insights and support strategic development

· Develops new and better analytics approaches to solve questions in a creative way

Minimum Requirements:

· Minimum 1 year of experience in business intelligence or relevant degree

· Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools

· Intermediate knowledge of SQL

· Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues

· Demonstrates quick learning and growth potential

Preferred Requirements:

· Experience in Finance, Mortgage, Banking
