Marketing Specialist

We’re now looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our local Marketing team in Baku, Azerbaijan. In this role, you’ll run marketing in Azerbaijan: campaign planning, budgets, analytics, and day-to-day communication with agencies and stakeholders. You’ll report to the Marketing Lead and play a key role in driving growth across all our business lines — from restaurants and retail to new verticals.

You’ll plan and run campaigns across our business lines, keep budgets and performance in view, and make sure agencies and internal teams know what is needed and by when.

What you’ll be doing

As a Marketing Specialist, you will plan and execute marketing in Azerbaijan. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you will own campaign planning, track budgets, read the analytics, and manage communication with agencies and stakeholders. You will keep several campaigns moving at once and adapt the plan when priorities change.

Day-to-day in this role, you’ll:

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns in Azerbaijan across business lines, in line with the plan agreed with the Marketing Lead
• Build and maintain the campaign calendar, briefs, and status updates
• Track campaign budgets and flag overspend or slippage early
• Read campaign analytics and recommend what to keep, stop, or scale
• Brief and manage agencies: feedback, timelines, and quality
• Keep stakeholder communication clear across HQ functions and the local team
• Adapt cluster or HQ campaigns so they work in Azerbaijan
• Coordinate the inputs a campaign needs, including assets, approvals, and partner timing, so launches happen on the agreed date
• Manage day-to-day agency and partner communication under the direction of the Marketing Lead

Our humble expectations

• Experience planning and executing marketing campaigns, including budgets and timelines.
• Proven experience working with multinational teams, external agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset — confident in using data to measure campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
• Hands-on experience managing agency communication and keeping several workstreams on deadline.
• Detail-oriented, fast to adapt, and comfortable owning both the plan and the execution.
• Business fluency in English and Azerbaijani is a strong plus.
• Previous experience in food delivery, on-demand services, or e-commerce is a plus.
