Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer compensation programs, policies, and procedures in India, ensuring alignment with business goals, market competitiveness, and regulatory requirements.
- Supports the local execution of compensation strategies focused on overall rewards philosophy.
- Supports the local execution of the annual compensation cycles, including salary planning, merit reviews, bonus planning, enrollment strategy, planning, and execution.
- Supports the Workday testing activities for India population leading up to the execution of the annual compensation cycles.
- Partners with compensation vendors, including service delivery, compliance, reporting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze external market data, compensation surveys, regulatory updates, and industry trends to evaluate local program effectiveness and maintain competitive pay practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to all relevant stakeholders and HR teams on compensation related policy matters.
- Maintain local salary structures and support internal equity and market competitiveness initiatives.
- Partner with Global HR, payroll, recruiting, and business stakeholders to resolve escalations, provide guidance on compensation matters, and enhance employee experience.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members while promoting knowledge sharing, continuous learning, compliance with employment regulations, and best practices across compensation functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent education and experience required
- Minimum 5 years of experience with all facets of compensation programs, including analysis, administration & management in a comparably sized organization, professional services experience highly desired.
- Experience with compensation systems and HR Information Systems required.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinker with ability to define and solve complex problems quickly
- Demonstrated ability to team with other departments and subject matter experts to deliver collaborative and successful outcomes on complicated issues
- Clear, concise, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business orientation and the ability to understand business issues its interrelationship with compensation
- Travel needed as necessary to other offices and ability to work non-traditional hours as needed
