The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our engineering team focused on building large-scale wireless networking solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the debuging, build and maintain automation test enviroment and debuging our cutting-edge embedded systems.
How you'll make impact
- working on new features automation and regression suite using different tools
- execute and script test cases for network and energy products
- work closely with the development team in problem characterization and early design validation
- participation in project planning, execution, testing and R&D activities in SCRUM methodology
- testing and troubleshooting of LTE/4G and 5G communication systems.
- building, configuring and maintaining lab test environments for networking and embedded devices.
Your background:
- Hands-on experience in test automation (Python/Pytest)
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in designing and implementing both test cases as well as whole test plans
- Experience with cellular networking technologies, including LTE/4G, 5G
- Communicative level of English
- Hands-on experience working in engineering or test laboratories
