[What the role is]
The Manager (Digital & Training Communications) is responsible for developing and executing NACLI's digital communications, social media engagement, corporate branding, and marketing efforts - strengthening the Institute's presence and creating mindshare for its training programmes among PA staff, grassroots leaders, and the wider community.The role also supports the outreach and publicity efforts for Our Community Gallery, ensuring consistent and compelling messages that reaches its target audiences through the right channels.
By strengthening NACLI's visibility and positioning as the forefront in community leadership development, the role supports PA's mission to Spark and Nurture Community Participation for a Caring and United Singapore.
[What you will be working on]
Digital Comms and Social Media Engagement
- Develops contents and adapts messaging for diverse target audiences to effectively communicate NACLI’s work through social media channels
- Creates platform-specific content formats to drive engagement across different digital platforms, ensuring optimal reach and impact
- Tracks and analyses social media metrics to generateactionable insights for content strategy development
- Identifies and analyses news/opportunities/trends, especially in the social and new media scene, which NACLI may harness to increase outreach
- Works closely with vendors, appointed marketing, media & digital agencies, internal stakeholders to align and execute comms plans
- Helps build in-house expertise in mobile and social media marketing and conduct best practice sharing sessions
- Ensures information about NACLI on website and social media channels are updated
- Manages NACLI’s media assets for proper archival and to coordinate all photo/videography requests at events
- Retrieves and recommends NACLI media assets (e.g. photos/videos) for submission to PA, including annual reports.
Publicity and Outreach for Our Community Gallery
- Supports the development of integrated publicity strategies and campaigns to promote Our Community Gallery, in alignment with PA/NACLI's communications and branding objectives
- Works closely with PA's Communications Division, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to leverage PA networks and publicise Our Community Gallery to a wider audience
- Executes publicity initiatives and fringe activities, and supports partnership efforts to increase visitorship and create a more engaging experience at Our Community Gallery
Training Communications
Corporate Branding
- Designs and implements on-campus publicity initiatives, e.g. campus signages, billboards, posters, wall displays, inspirational quotes, marketing stickers, notice boards and display showcases
- Proposes and manages the production of tiered corporate collateral ranging from corporate gifts for speakers and guests, corporate kits for visitors, marketing brochures, learning aids, and corporate presentation templates to enhance NACLI’s corporate image and identity
- Proposes and manages the production of NACLI’s corporate attire, email signature templates etc
- Supports in the production of corporate videos e.g. year-in-review video, corporate video, programmes and facilities marketing videos, post-programme videos etc
Communications and Marketing
- Designs and plans the production of electronic direct mailers (EDMs) for marketing of courses
- Plans, initiates, and works closely with internal stakeholders on the production of NACLI’s quarterly training calendar
- Develops course announcements/nomination notice/marketing brochures, blurbs to market and publicise NACLI’s training programmes to PA staff, GRLs and relevant external organisations
- Conducts market research on training outreach and proposes measures to strengthen outreach and support NACLI's objectives
- Provides communications advice and support for NACLI’s programmes, e.g. invitation design, backdrop design, programme sheets, collateral giveaways etc.
Media and Publicity
- Executes media relations duties of all NACLI projects such as developing media angles, drafting media releases and preparing media kits
- Engages both formal and informal media onsite and assists with staffing onsite interviews to create mindshare about NACLI and its training programmes
- Monitors, records, and compiles media coverage for all NACLI projects and route information to relevant staff for information
- Assists in drafting papers and reports on NACLI’s publicity-related matters
- Assists in comms-related aspects of official visits and training-related events e.g. arrange for corporate presentation, gifts, photography, etc
- Drafts responses to public enquiries and feedback received through NACLI’s official email accounts and social media platforms
- Supports cross-functional initiatives and broader organisational needs, as required

What we are looking for
Experience
- Preferably two years in marketing, digital communications and/or related work experience
- Proficient in the Adobe CC suite of programmes, and image/video editing tools especially with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premier Pro
- Good working knowledge in graphic design, photography, video production and print production
- Hands-on experience in conceptualising and creating content for social media platforms
