About the Role 

As a Sales Development Representative, you will manage a pipeline of pre-qualified companies and use phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach to convert prospects into demos of the SciLeads platform. You will play  a key part in our sales process and the company's continued success. 

This is a target-driven outbound sales role involving regular cold calling and working towards daily and monthly targets. You will be supported through training and coaching as you build the skills, consistency and resilience needed to succeed in sales. 

This is a great opportunity for someone with initial sales or outbound outreach experience who wants to strengthen their skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the life science and pharmaceutical industry and develop within an established sales team.

Responsibilities include: 

• Manage your pipeline of pre-qualified companies and convert prospects into demos of the market-leading SciLeads SaaS platform
• Conduct regular outbound outreach through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn 
• Work consistently towards defined activity, demo and performance targets 
• Maintain accurate prospect and activity information within the CRM 
• Work closely with Sales Managers to develop your approach and performance
• Be a key part of the sales process and the company’s success

Essential Skills: 

• At least six months of B2B sales or another target driven outreach role
• Experience conducting phone-based prospecting 
• Clear and concise verbal communication
• Experience working consistently towards activity or performance targets
• Openness to regular feedback, coaching and continued development
• An interest in developing a long term career in sales
• The ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced remote environment 

Desirable Skills: 

• Some familiarity with sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Apollo 
• An undergraduate degree in a science discipline 
• Experience working within the Life Science Industry, or Pharmaceutical Industry
