Finance Manager - Client Finance Operations

Background

We are seeking a Finance Manager to support our Workplace Management (WPM) client operations across the region. This role focuses on providing dedicated financial oversight and analytical support for client engagements, where JLL delivers both direct resources and agency services. The position requires strong client relationship management skills and expertise in financial governance, compliance, and strategic reporting to ensure optimal service delivery and cost management for our clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

Client Financial Management

• Lead comprehensive spend tracking and analysis across all client accounts and service lines
• Maintain client financial governance frameworks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Oversee budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis for client operations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes specific to client engagements

 

Day-to-Day Financial Operations

• Track and monitor invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing to clients
• Oversee payment processing and cash application for client accounts
• Manage month-end accruals and deferrals to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Conduct daily reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable balances
• Monitor invoice approvals and resolve payment discrepancies with vendors and clients
• Ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses across different client cost centers

 

Analytics and Reporting

• Develop and deliver high-quality financial reports and dashboards for client stakeholders
• Provide insightful variance analysis comparing actuals vs. budgets vs. forecasts
• Create executive-level presentations highlighting spending trends, cost-saving opportunities, and performance metrics
• Support quarterly business reviews and strategic planning discussions with clients

 

Compliance and Controls

• Ensure adherence to client-specific financial policies and procedures
• Implement and monitor internal controls for financial processes and reporting
• Conduct regular reconciliations of client accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Support audit processes and compliance reviews as required

 

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as primary financial liaison between JLL operations teams and client finance departments
• Facilitate monthly financial review meetings with client stakeholders
• Manage client escalations related to financial matters and provide appropriate solutions
• Coordinate with procurement teams on vendor management and contract optimization

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience & Education

• 8-10 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or client financial management
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in service industry environments, preferably facilities management or real estate

 

Key Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling and presentations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for varied audiences
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
