The Role
We’ve grown rapidly through a product-led growth (PLG) model, and now we’re building a high-performance sales team to expand our reach into larger practices and group organizations. As a Senior SDR, you’ll be on the front line of this exciting shift, leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive our next phase of growth.
As a Senior Sales Development Representative, you are the engine of our top-of-funnel velocity. You will be responsible for generating high-quality opportunities for our sales team by masterfully engaging with inbound leads and executing sophisticated, AI-enhanced outbound prospecting campaigns. Your goal is to identify high-potential customers, uncover their unique challenges, and position SimplePractice as the essential partner for their practice’s growth.
Responsibilities
- AI-Enhanced Prospecting: Utilize advanced sales intelligence tools like ZoomInfo, Gong Engage, and Nooks to research, identify, and prioritize target accounts within the behavioral health and wellness markets.
- High-Velocity Outreach: Execute personalized, multi-channel outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn, leveraging AI tools to increase velocity while maintaining a human, consultative touch.
- Inbound Lead Mastery: Rapidly qualify marketing-generated leads, using data-driven insights to assess readiness and fit for mid-market and enterprise-level solutions.
- Strategic Discovery: Conduct deep-dive discovery calls to uncover prospect pain points, practice size, and complex operational needs, ensuring a seamless handoff to Sales representatives.
- Meeting Generation & Pipeline Fuel: Consistently exceed targets for booking qualified discovery calls and demos that directly impact the sales pipeline.
- Data Integrity: Maintain meticulous records of all interactions in our CRM (HubSpot), ensuring data is clean and actionable for the entire sales organization.
- Collaborative Feedback Loop: Partner closely with Marketing, Sales representatives, and Solutions Engineers to refine messaging, improve lead quality, and share market insights from the field.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience: 2–3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales development or business development, with a proven track record of exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern sales engagement and AI tools, including HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Gong, and Nooks.
- AI-Forward Mindset: A proactive desire to leverage AI tools to automate administrative tasks and increase prospecting efficiency.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conduct sophisticated discovery and "uncover the why" behind a prospect's needs.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare, behavioral health, or health tech is a significant plus.
Base Compensation Range
$60-70K annually | $88,000 OTE
This is a full-time position eligible for overtime pay and a comprehensive commission plan.
The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
