Role and Responsibilities
As Global Head of TSAM, you define and execute the global account management strategy for ING's largest and most strategic Payments & Cash Management clients. You drive sustainable growth, deepen client relationships and maximize long-term client and franchise value.
You are accountable for commercial performance across the TSAM portfolio, including revenue growth, profitability, client satisfaction and Payments & Cash Management penetration. You drive commercial excellence through effective portfolio management, performance steering and data-driven decision making.
You provide functional leadership to an international TSAM community across multiple countries, setting strategic direction, driving consistency in client management and commercial execution, and fostering a high-performing and client-focused culture. You play a key role in talent development, succession planning and the continued growth of the TSAM organisation.
As a member of the Global TS Sales Management Team, you represent TSAM in strategic and governance forums and ensure alignment with ING's risk, compliance and client lifecycle management standards. You partner closely with senior stakeholders across Wholesale Banking to deliver value for clients and the bank.
How to Succeed
We're looking for an experienced commercial leader with a strong track record in managing client-facing businesses, driving growth and leading international teams in a complex stakeholder environment.
Key qualifications and experience
- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's), preferably in Economics, Finance, Business or a related field
- Significant leadership experience in a large, international and matrixed organization
- Proven track record in commercial strategy, client relationship management and business growth
- Experience leading senior professionals and building high-performing teams across multiple locations
- Strong understanding of corporate banking, transaction banking, payments, cash management or related financial services; daily banking products (both Cash and Trade), Client Servicing and other related client needs (including lending)
- Ability to translate strategy into execution and drive change across complex organizations
- Experience with KYC and compliance processes
- Sound understanding of risk, compliance and regulatory requirements in a banking environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior executive level
