Location: Carmel, IN

Facility: St. Vincent Medical Group

Department/Specialty: Plastic Reconstructive Surgery

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

How you'll make an impact in this role

 

  • Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
  • Train staff, assist with office workflow/policies, track staff attendance, cover front and back office when needed, billing coding, monitor provider schedules, and other related duties.
  • Functions in a lead capacity with oversight and mentoring of less experienced Medical Assistants.
  • Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care obtaining vital statistics as well as providing clerical and organizational tasks such as appointment scheduling and chart management.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
