We're Hiring: Procurement Specialist
Location: Hyderabad India - Hybrid

Job Description
The Procurement Specialist, Indirect will execute regional indirect procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings and process improvements across India, Middle East, Africa region.
This role requires good communication, fundamental Stakeholder management and negotiation skills. This role demands core expertise in the categories below.
- Indirect Services – HR, Professional services, Consulting, Marketing, Facility Management
- Other in directs – CAPEX, Fleet, IT, MRO, Travel, etc.
- Logistics and Warehousing

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Execute sourcing strategies for indirect categories.
- Drive sourcing process for indirect categories including baseline preparation, RFQ/RFP preparation, Quotes/bid evaluation, supplier selection, and contract management.
- Identify New/Alternate vendors to the RFP wherever applicable.
- Conduct benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Contribute to the Working Capital initiatives and support payment terms extensions with vendor according to global guidelines.
- Support sourcing activities for green field/brown field projects wherever applicable.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and internal controls.
- Maintain the regional contract tracker and ensure timely renewals of contracts.
Process Improvement:
- Streamline procurement processes, reducing complexity and improving efficiency.
- Implement and maintain procurement systems, tools, and technology.
Performance Metrics:
- Cost savings targets.
- WAPT Targets.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field. Master’s degree (Optional)
- Minimum 10+ years of indirect procurement experience.
- Proven track record of cost savings and process improvements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with category management, profound knowledge on in directs.
- Experience with data analytics and procurement metrics.
- Regional experience
- Effective time management skills, analytical, financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience and working knowledge of SAP, Ariba, Coupa.
