The Verification & Validation R&D Engineer is responsible for planning and executing Design Verification and internal validation activities of system analytical performance for Radiometer products. Your work will ensure that our complex systems meet stringent quality and regulatory standards.

This position reports to the Systems Usability and V&V Engineering department manager and is part of the Product Systems section, located in Brønshøj, Denmark and will be an on-site role. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to ensure products meet rigorous performance and compliance standards.
• Design and implement robust design verification strategies and plans, balancing quality, risk and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and follow up on test results, providing timely updates and insights to project managers and leaders.
• Author design verification and validation protocols, conduct thorough data analysis, and compile comprehensive reports aligned with global quality & regulatory standards.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Master in biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, bioengineering, biomedical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years work experience.
• Good knowledge of statistical principles and experience applying statistical methods to data analysis and decision-making.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive tasks independently.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Design Verification & Validation, in medical devices or in a regulated business, as part of an R&D organisation.
• Working with blood in a lab environment.
• Danish language skills are considered an advantage but are not required.
