Senior SAP Finance & Tax Expert - Tax Processes & Technology

For an international pharmaceutical organization, we are looking for an experienced **Senior SAP Finance & Tax Expert** for a long-term role within a global Finance and Tax organization.

The position combines Tax, SAP Finance, business process and tax technology expertise. You will contribute to the ongoing development, standardization and optimization of global Tax processes and solutions while also supporting their deployment across different countries and business environments.

A current focus is the rollout of global Finance and Tax solutions within a major SAP transformation program.

## Tasks

• Develop, harmonize and optimize global Finance and Tax processes and solutions.
• Roll out global Finance and Tax template solutions across EMEA, including solution documentation, implementation, testing and training.
• Analyze local tax and regulatory requirements, identify gaps against the global template and design appropriate localization extensions.
• Translate Tax and Finance business requirements into functional SAP solutions and specifications.
• Support tax-related solutions covering Indirect Tax, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax, DRC, e-invoicing and statutory reporting.
• Ensure an end-to-end perspective across Finance and Record-to-Report processes and coordinate dependencies with adjacent Finance areas.
• Lead process and solution alignment with Tax, Finance, IT and local business stakeholders.
• Support deployment activities through to go-live and contribute to the ongoing improvement and standardization of global Tax solutions.

## Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Information Technology or a comparable field.
• At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in international SAP, ERP, Finance or Tax environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Finance, especially SAP FI/CO, combined with a solid understanding of IFRS Accounting and Finance/Tax integration.
• Proven experience with SAP Tax solutions and tax-related processes, ideally including Indirect Tax, Withholding Tax and/or Corporate Income Tax.
• Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, country-specific localization and/or SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).
• Experience with tax technology, e-invoicing, statutory reporting or external tax engines such as Sovos is an advantage.
• Experience with global templates, international deployments and process standardization; familiarity with BPM, Agile, Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
• Fluent English is required; Hungarian is a strong advantage.
