We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Product Coordinator who is energetic, can multi-task and problem solve, and has the drive and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting.
Primary Purpose:
The Product Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on industry trends, competitor activity, customer feedback, and market opportunities for finished goods and accessories. This position works closely with the Product Manager to support product specifications, competitive benchmarking, product documentation, new product introductions, and feature-benefit development. The Product Coordinator also provides product content guidance to Marketing for packaging, websites, infographics, and other media while helping ensure product information remains accurate and consistent across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Product Manager in researching, documenting, and maintaining product specifications and requirements.
- Work with the Product Manager and Marketing team to ensure that products, parts, and marketing materials comply with specifications, brand and advertising guidelines.
- Conduct market research for competitive insights, and opportunities for product improvements.
- Analyze customer reviews, warranty trends, and customer feedback to identify product improvement opportunities.
- Collect and analyze product-related requests and feedback from Sales teams to identify market needs and future product opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members, including customers, engineers, and designers, to gather and refine product requirements.
- Help prepare for and participate in meetings and presentations, contributing insights and updates as needed.
- Provide product-related support to cross-functional teams as needed.
- Take on additional tasks and projects as assigned, learning and growing with each opportunity.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience gathering, organizing, analyzing and communicating information from multiple sources.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data organization, analysis, reporting, and comparison of information from multiple sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in person, on the phone, in writing, and on video calls.
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy; ability to multitask.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting retail, e-commerce, sales, marketing, brand management, or channel management initiatives.
- Experience working with online and other retailers like Amazon.com, Lowe's and The Home Depot.
- Experience within the power tool industry is preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English is a plus.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
