Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $88,500.00 - $134,750.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

What you will be doing

Key Responsibilities 

• Implement internal communications initiatives that support organizational priorities and employee engagement  

• Create communications supporting new programs, systems, locations and collaborations; organizational changes; awards and recognition; and other developments across HSS.  

• Manage day-to-day intranet content, maintain editorial standards, publish communications, and track engagement metrics 

• Ensure communications are appropriately segmented and tailored to the needs of different employee audiences, including frontline staff with limited access to email and digital channels.  

• Develop and distribute employee newsletters, announcements, leadership messages and other recurring communications.  

• Serve as a communications liaison during operational disruptions and other time-sensitive events, helping disseminate clear and timely information across the organization.  

• Oversee employee signage and other physical communications, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and consistent across HSS locations.  

• Develop written, visual and multimedia content that helps employees understand organizational priorities and brings the HSS community and culture to life.  

• Regularly promote, attend and provide communications support for employee events, celebrations, leadership forums and other engagement activities.  

•  Support communications planning and promotion for employee events and engagement activities. 

• Incorporate employee feedback and sentiment into communications planning, identifying opportunities to strengthen engagement and improve the employee experience.  

• Share employee insights and communications plans with the broader Communications team to support alignment and consistency across audiences and channels.  

• Monitor communication metrics and employee feedback and provide recommendations for improvement.
