Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Senior Data Integrity Specialist, you will meticulously prepare statistics and daily productivity reports, alongside ongoing financial analysis and reporting.
Every day you will support the preparation of the annual operating budget, conduct variance analysis, train managers and directors on financial concepts, and develop/prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports.
To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced analytical and reporting skills, expertise in financial analysis and budget preparation, and the ability to train and support management in financial processes, ensuring accurate and impactful data integrity for strategic decision-making.
- Works routine potential duplicate work queues including but not limited to Mark for Merge, Duplicate Warning Override Reports, and Demographic Change Reports.
- Completes all types of tasks based on workflow to research and resolve potential duplicates and overlays.
- Investigate and perform chart corrections.
- Complete unmerging of records when required.
- Prepares reports, presentations, and other documents as instructed.
- Provide training and guidance to others regarding duplicate medical record prevention and corrections.
This position has the ability to work remote 100% for Colorado residents; however will have to go on-site (Mineral campus in Centennial Co.) for in person meetings and or if experiencing Internet or computer issues.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of health information management, patient access, or billing experience.
- Experience with the electronic health record (EHR) and health information systems and applications.
- Knowledge in health care compliance, HIPAA privacy and confidentiality laws.
- Demonstrated computer aptitude on healthcare related applications.Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred
- Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
- Training in medical terminology
- AHIMA credential – RHIA, RHIT
- Experience with Epic
