PRIMARY FUNCTION
TROY7 is looking for a Project Analyst to join our dynamic team in Colorado Springs, CO. The Project Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and management of federal programs. This position involves managing program data, conducting analysis, preparing documentation, and facilitating communication among project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assisting in the development of project schedules and timelines, tracking progress and reporting on key performance metrics.
- Assisting project managers with financial forecasting, tracking labor and other direct cost expenses, and invoice review.
- Providing analytical support for project planning and execution, including the identification and mitigation of risks.
- Preparing project documentation, briefings, and reports for stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Facilitating meetings, coordinating project activities, and ensuring alignment among project teams.
- Maintaining databases and project management tools to provide visibility into project status and resources.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather input and enhance project processes.
- Supporting the financial management of projects, including budget tracking and resource allocation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint)
- Experience with data analysis and reporting; ability to analyze complex information and generate meaningful insights.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; capable of presenting data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team; proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint 8.2, PowerBI and Microsoft Project is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in management, accounting, finance, or a related field, with at least 3 years of work experience in project support or a relevant role.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of War Secret Security Clearance.
