As a Senior Associate - Cybersecurity Operations Analyst you will support cybersecurity operations work focused on identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring threats, and helping protect client systems and sensitive data within our Cybersecurity practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, manage assigned workstreams, guide junior team members, and build meaningful client relationships while navigating changing priorities and contributing to the delivery of cybersecurity solutions. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires, you will use a broad range of tools, methods, and techniques to solve problems, interpret data for insights, understand how your work connects to broader project goals, and uphold professional and technical standards while deepening your technical skills and business context.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring security events, alerts, and incidents across client environments to identify unusual activity and escalate findings
- Investigating potential threats by analyzing logs, indicators of compromise, and endpoint data from security tooling
- Supporting incident response activities by gathering evidence, documenting actions, and tracking remediation steps
- Tuning detection content and reviewing alert logic to reduce false positives and improve signal quality
- Preparing clear case notes, incident summaries, and status updates for client stakeholders and internal teams
- Applying cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and control requirements to routine operational reviews and assessments
- Collaborating across technical teams to resolve vulnerabilities, strengthen monitoring coverage, and support corrective actions
- Guiding junior team members through operational tasks, knowledge sharing, and peer review of assigned work
- Understanding the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection
- Ensuring correct Information Security Management practices
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to enterprise cybersecurity governance and operations, including CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security credentials
- Demonstrating cybersecurity operations experience in client-facing settings
- Interpreting security monitoring data to inform recommendations
- Using critical thinking to address complex incident patterns
- Guiding junior team members through shifting priorities
