Description
In the Commercial Support Specialist role, you will be operationally reporting to the Sales Management team and with focus to support customers in mainly in Cyprus but also in Europe, ensuring open and clear communication within the sales team and functions within the Hub.
As a hands‑on commercial role at the center of our Marine sales operation, you will work closely with Key Account Managers to support customers and keep the commercial engine running.
You will gain exposure to sales strategy, commercial decision making and data‑driven insight, giving you a strong understanding of how our Marine business operates day to day.
What does that look like?
- Act as the first point of contact to customers by providing quotes and specifications and answering product inquiries including collecting information and providing basic technical support.
- Support the Sales sector with sales activities including but not limited to handling documentation, follow-ups, CRM updates, and generating leads.
- Handle price list and documentation (ensuring adherence to Authority Matrix; archiving).
- Guarantees issuing, coordination, and control.
- Maintain clean, reliable commercial data and produce reports and insights.
- Provide timely information that supports commercial decisions and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written, with confidence dealing directly with customers.
- Confidence working with data, reporting and analytics.
- Excellent organization skills, ability to set priorities, and responsive to customer requests.
- Highly keen on learning with a self-motivated, target-focused approach.
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instruction via oral and written communication.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while handling interruptions and in what can be a high stress environment.
Qualifications, experience, and skills required for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, sciences, Engineering, or Finance
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English. Knowledge of a second language would be an advantage.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Well-rounded working with CRM systems.
- Experience in a B2B customer service, sales support or commercial support role will be an advantage.
