Boston Scientific is seeking a Business Process Lead II to support and enhance business systems, warehouse systems and operational processes across Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain operations. This position, based in Quincy, Massachusetts, partners closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Product Teams, IT teams and vendors to support system reliability, operational performance, compliance and the end-user experience.
This role is ideal for an individual who combines strong operational knowledge with developing business systems expertise and is looking to expand their impact through requirements gathering, testing, reporting, process improvement and operational support. The position serves as a liaison between business and technology teams, helping deliver solutions that support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
● Serve as the primary point of contact for ticket triage, issue investigation, end-user support and business process troubleshooting for assigned systems and functional areas.
● Partner directly with warehouse, distribution, manufacturing and quality teams using a hands-on Go See approach to understand business processes, support end users, identify root causes and resolve operational issues.
● Gather, document and maintain business requirements, process flows, business procedures and user stories for system enhancements and process improvements.
● Define test strategies, develop test scripts, execute testing activities, support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation efforts, document results and coordinate defect resolution for system and process changes.
● Support SAP, Manhattan and related technologies by assessing business impacts, coordinating support activities and partnering with IT and vendors to implement solutions.
● Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, training materials and end-user communications to support adoption and operational consistency.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
● Associate degree in business, supply chain, information systems, engineering, operations or a related field, or a minimum of 4 years' progressively responsible experience in supply chain, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, quality, business systems or information technology.
● Experience supporting warehouse operations, distribution processes, manufacturing operations, business systems or operational technologies.
● Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, business procedures or user stories.
● Experience supporting testing activities, troubleshooting operational issues or participating in system implementations.
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with frontline users, business stakeholders and technical teams.
● Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, information systems, engineering, operations or a related field.
● Experience supporting SAP, Manhattan, Jitbit, Power BI or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP), warehouse management system (WMS), ticket management, reporting and analytics, or low-code application platforms, including Jira and Power Apps.
● Experience supporting warehouse technologies, including radio frequency (RF) devices, automation systems, material handling equipment, MDCS, Packsize or related operational technologies.
● Experience with business requirements, process documentation, testing, defect management, user training, reporting, dashboards and continuous improvement initiatives.
● Experience in a medical device, FDA-regulated or quality system environment, including exposure to the software development life cycle (SDLC), validation, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), compliance and audit readiness activities.
● Boston Scientific operations experience with demonstrated progression through warehouse, inventory, logistics, quality, manufacturing, training, systems or process improvement roles, including experience as a super user, subject matter expert (SME), trainer, system tester, warehouse lead, inventory lead, operations coordinator or quality lead.
● Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated continuous improvement experience.
