Logistics Analyst

Nightwing is seeking to a cleared logistics professional with proven ability to fulfill various customer requirements. You will be joining a diverse, dynamic team of quality logistics professionals motivated to the mission and contract success. Must be a team player with knowledge and experience in all facets of warehouse operations including but not limited to Receiving, Inventory, Shipping, Transportation, Data Entry, Inventory & Audits. You will interact with both internal and external customers daily both in person and via other communication channels. Transportation consists primarily in the local area but can involve nationwide travel. Our operations may require work in inclement weather to complete tasking.

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
• Experienced in packing large and small shipments, crating/palletizing accountable equipment.
• Must be able to withstand physical demands of a warehouse environment: bending, squatting, twisting, climbing ladders, lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, this could include lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50lbs unassisted, walking and standing for extended periods of time.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks power and manual, carts, power and hand tools. Training available.
• The role involves periodic travel CONUS to manage offsite shipments and logistics functions, including overnight travel 1-2 times per month.
• Candidate needs to be willing to obtain and pass valid DOT medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) operations.
• Strong familiarity with government property and material tracking systems to include creation of property and material catalog entries, recording receipt of property and material, performing physical inventory,recording in inventory tracking systems, and performing issuance of property and material for use and consumption.
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 45 and FAR 52.245-1 processes for management of property and consumable material on Government contracts.
• Familiarity with Property Disposition processes for government property to include accountable assets.

Desired:

• Experience creating documents DD250, DD1348, DD1149, SF1428 as required for government shipments.  
• Direct experience using the Sunflower government property management system for full lifecycle property and material management.
• Experience leading or participating in Contractor Self Assessments (CSAs) related to implementation of property management systems.

Education:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($77,000–$163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
