As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Communications in Whippany, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support a welcoming, secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns while helping to deter incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and visitor management protocols.
• Greet, screen, and direct visitors, clients, contractors, and delivery personnel while maintaining accurate access and sign-in records.
• Monitor access points, lobby activity, and available security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain professional communication with employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly front-desk environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
