Job Responsibilities
Travel Operations Role
Overview: Support the day-to-day execution and operational management of the company's global travel program. Provide support to employees experiencing travel-related issues, assist with travel system administration, supplier program support, and travel policy compliance.
This is a highly operational and service-focused role, acting as a key liaison between travelers, BCD Travel, and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth travel experience.
Key Responsibilities
Travel Operations & Issue Resolution
- Act as the first point of contact for travel-related inquiries and issues, including: Booking errors, Ticketing issues, Policy-related questions, Travel tool navigation support (Concur & Cytric)
- Support troubleshooting within Concur Travel (including New Concur Travel) and escalate technical issues when needed
- Coordinate with BCD Travel to resolve service delivery issues
- Monitor and track recurring issues and identify trends
- Maintain issue logs and resolution trackers
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding: Travel policy, Booking process, Travel tools and resources
- Support traveler communications related to policy updates, process changes, and travel program initiatives
Reporting & Data Support
- Extract and prepare standard reports from BCD DecisionSource and Concur
- Maintain operational trackers and reporting dashboards
- Perform basic data validation to support reporting accuracy
- Assist with travel compliance
Program Support
- Assist in managing the preferred hotel program
- Help monitor hotel compliance and preferred supplier adoption
- Track rate loading issues and hotel availability gaps
- Support audits of negotiated rates versus booked rates
- Maintain supplier issue logs and follow up on resolutions when required
System Administration Support
- Assist with traveler profile maintenance in Concur
- Support user access requests and basic system administration activities
- Assist in testing and validation of system updates, enhancements, and configuration changes
- Maintain user guides, FAQs, and process documentation
Continuous Improvement
- Identify recurring operational issues and process inefficiencies
- Support implementation of new travel processes and tool enhancements
- Assist with user training and change management activities
- Recommend opportunities to improve traveler experience and operational efficiency
