BIM Coordinator - Electrical

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical BIM Coordinator / Modeler to join our BIM team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing electrical BIM models across multidisciplinary projects while ensuring compliance with project standards and BIM execution plans

Your role

• Develop and maintain detailed Electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Perform model reviews and ensure compliance with project BIM standards and client requirements.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution using Autodesk Navisworks.
• Support engineers in producing coordinated design deliverables and construction documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and technical workshops.
• Assist in implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project BIM protocols.
• Prepare BIM reports, model audits, and coordination documentation.
• Develop families, templates, and BIM content libraries as required.
• Ensure models are delivered within project schedules and quality standards.
• Support 3D visualization, quantity extraction, and design validation activities.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in Electrical BIM Modeling and Coordination.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience with power, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, and low-current systems.
• Good understanding of BIM workflows, standards, and coordination processes.
• Experience in clash detection, model validation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360 is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working on building projects such as commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, or mixed-use developments.
