Description
Prioritize, plan, and support maintenance work in collaboration with affected departments. Identify required resources, including labor, tools, parts, technical references, and equipment; develop job plans; and coordinate with Production Planning, vendors, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to support successful execution. Lead analysis of maintenance history and equipment performance, including root cause analysis, to identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce recurring issues. Provide planning and technical support across multiple Business Units using the TMP system. Facilitate and coordinate all preventive maintenance (PM) activities for the site. Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintenance processes, equipment reliability, efficiency, and cost reduction. Support CMMS, inventory control, spare parts, and purchasing activities as needed. Partner with maintenance personnel, vendors, production teams, and network representatives to document, standardize, and improve maintenance tasks and processes. Analyze and report on site, area, and network maintenance performance. Develop and track maintenance KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and provide visibility to department performance. Maintain accurate technical documentation for plant equipment and systems, including maintenance procedures, schematics, manuals, and other reference materials. Serve as a key site contact for Network Maintenance and support the implementation of technical improvements and best practices. Support the site's Daily Management System and maintenance performance routines. Develop and maintain spare parts lists, kitting strategies, and equipment rebuild strategies. Coach and train maintenance technicians and other technically skilled employees on maintenance processes, planning practices, and technical procedures. Support engineering and capital projects as needed. Provide support to maintenance crew leaders and technicians during equipment emergencies and other critical situations. Associate degree in a relevant technical field preferred. 4+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a high-volume, fast-paced, capital-intensive manufacturing environment. 2+ years of maintenance planning experience preferred. Experience using a CMMS; SAP experience preferred. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate technical information accurately and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work effectively with maintenance, production, engineering, vendors, and other cross-functional teams. Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions. Ability to push and pull up to 1,500 pounds using provided equipment. Ability to work in a sedentary/light office environment with frequent computer and keyboard use, approximately 50-75% of the workday.
