Position Summary: In charge of working with the Director of Residential Services to coordinate and manage all aspects of the Residence and the Annex apartments. The preferred initial schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with shifts primarily ranging from 12pm - 8pm and 3pm - 11pm. There may be an opportunity to transition to a four day, 10 hour schedule in the future.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage maintenance staff regarding yard work, snow removal, garbage and recycle, and general upkeep of the Residence and Annex properties
- Establish and maintain accounts and proper use of: utility companies, exterminators, Comcast, Netflix, etc
- Oversee general upkeep of physical dwelling including appliances, furniture, etc.
- Arranging ad hoc servicing and upkeep of company vehicle
- Maintain budget and ordering of groceries and various household goods
- Organize and supervise house cleaning services on an ongoing basis
- Ensure petty cash is on hand and balanced
- Ensure proper staffing of all shifts
- Work with the HR Manager to ensure staff timesheets are confirmed for payroll processing
- Supervise Milieu Staff
- Supervise Residence Chefs: ensure the wellness aspect of the Residence in terms of nutrition and appropriate balance; review and approve menus
- Organize and run weekly client house meetings
- Ensure Brackett House Staff Shift Responsibilities are completed
Non-Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Occasional nights, weekends and holidays
- Occasional travel
- Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, drive a vehicle, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, bend, walk up and down stairs, talk, hear, and see. Employee must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Work Environment: Majority of work is performed indoors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
- Masters Degree in relevant field preferred
- 1-3 years knowledge and experience in management, scheduling, and working with persons with severe mental illness
- Must be committed to a process of knowledge and skills development
- Must have skills and competencies to establish supportive trusting relationships with the Director of Residential Services, Residence staff, persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses, as well as family and other members or the clients’ network
- Must have valid driver’s license, clean driver’s record and a dependable, insured automobile
