Job Summary-
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift weekend schedule (Friday-Sunday 5pm-5:30am) at our Springboro, OH Facility.

Responsibilities-
Quality inspector is responsbile for in process inspection for our manufacturing processes.
- Must be self-motivated, self-directed and possess leadership qualities
- Must have a good attendance record
- Previous Quality inspection a must (experience in a manufacturing environment as plus)
- Highly knowledgeable in the use of various types of gages, micrometers, calipers, etc
- Has intermediate or advanced knowledge of quality control procedures
- Has intermediate or advanced understanding of containment and quarantine procedures and NCM procedures
- Monitor production operations to ensure they meet documented standards
- Must be able to utilize basic math skills
- Must be able to communicate with operations, management and DCMA
- Ensure all EHS compliance is met
- Must be able to use computer and email for data entry
- Must be able to communicate with management and other personnel
Qualifications-
High School diploma/GED required. Quality experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
