You will be part of ABB Process Automation business area and work within the Energy Industry division and our exciting market.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our Energy Industries Sales and Tendering team. In this role you will provide critical support to our sales team while managing complex tender processes from bid preparation to contract close. You will be instrumental in ensuring successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely together with our sales team who has the sales responsibility to our customers, but you will be the significant “value adder” in giving our customers an overwhelming experience of ABB´s capabilities and offerings.

Your role and responsibilities

• Work in close collaboration with our Sales team with the aim to develop business opportunities to actual projects and to give the customer a unique experience of ABB´s capabilities and offerings.
• Manage end-to-end tender processes, including bid preparation, documentation, and submission
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, project management, finance, legal) to develop competitive proposals.
•   Prepare and maintain tender documentation, schedules and timelines.
• Track tender status, manage follow-ups, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and ABB standards in all tender submissions.
• Assist in contract negotiations and maintain accurate project records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal teams.

Qualifications for the role

 

• A Master of Science or Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field.

• Knowledge in energy industries, electrical and automation projects.

• Being quality conscious and appreciating the work processes being in continuous improvement and innovation.

• Self-independent as well as a team player.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales support, tender management, or similar role.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.

• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with excellent attention to accuracy and timelines.
  
  

The role could be based in any of our offices, Malmö, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Västerås or Umeå.
