Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Talent Acquisition professional to lead the recruitment of highly technical talent, with a strong focus on semiconductor, engineering and technology functions. The role will partner closely with business leaders to develop effective hiring strategies, build technical talent pipelines and provide market-driven talent insights. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who is commercially minded, resilient and comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving business needs.
What you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing recruitment strategies to identify, attract, assess and hire highly technical talent, particularly across semiconductor, engineering and technology functions.
- Taking a hands-on approach to sourcing and engaging passive candidates through LinkedIn, talent mapping, referrals and other channels.
- Conducting technical and semiconductor talent market mapping and analysis to build sustainable talent pipelines and provide insights on talent availability, market trends and talent movements.
- Driving recruitment activities across multiple channels, including direct applications, referrals, campus engagement, recruitment agencies and professional networks, while effectively managing each channel.
- Partnering closely with hiring managers throughout the interview process to assess candidates for technical capabilities, role suitability, team fit and cultural alignment.
- Advising hiring teams on talent availability, market competitiveness and hiring considerations, using market intelligence and business context to support hiring decisions.
- Ensuring a first-class candidate experience across every stage of the recruitment process.
- Leveraging tools such as LinkedIn Talent Insights and other recruitment technology to provide data-driven talent insights and recommendations.
- Building and strengthening the company’s employer brand and talent presence within the semiconductor, technology and engineering markets.
- Staying updated on relevant local employment legislation and ensuring recruitment activities comply with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Contributing to TA process improvements and initiatives to enhance recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.
How you will stand out:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with proven experience hiring for semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, chip design, electronics or related engineering/technology functions.
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor and technical talent landscape, including relevant skill sets, talent pools and hiring market dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience in regional or international recruitment, preferably across multiple markets in Asia.
- Strong hands-on sourcing capabilities, particularly in identifying and engaging passive technical talent.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth and ambiguous environments, with the ability to navigate evolving priorities and business requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner closely with hiring managers, manage expectations and provide practical talent solutions.
- Commercially minded with the ability to use market data, talent insights and business context to advise on hiring decisions.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter/Talent Insights and other recruitment technology.
- A combination of in-house and recruitment agency experience would be an advantage.
- Experience in the AI, semiconductor, data center or blockchain industries would be an advantage.
- Demonstrates a resilient, dynamic and growth mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly, navigate ambiguity and adopt new technologies and practices.
