We're looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology operations, infrastructure, and strategic IT initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT environment while leading a high-performing team that supports employees across the organization.

What You'll Do
Lead IT Strategy & Operations
- Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring reliable and efficient technology services.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage IT initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and technology projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and overall IT performance.
- Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership as needed regarding IT operations, initiatives, and performance.
Manage Infrastructure & Technology
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and support of enterprise technology, including:
- Servers and network infrastructure
- Telecommunications systems
- Desktop and laptop computers
- Operating systems
- Hardware and software
- Office technology and peripherals
- Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability across all business locations.
- Manage software licensing, hardware lifecycle planning, and technology asset management.
Lead and Develop the IT Team
- Recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing IT team.
- Manage employee scheduling, performance evaluations, professional development, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture that emphasizes responsiveness and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Information Security & Business Continuity
- Lead the organization's cybersecurity initiatives and promote a strong culture of information security.
- Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize operational risk.
- Implement employee training and awareness programs related to cybersecurity best practices.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, security threats, and industry trends to recommend proactive improvements.
Vendor & Project Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and oversee technology-related purchasing.
- Coordinate vendor due diligence, disaster recovery documentation, and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Manage multiple technology projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Partner Across the Business
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand business needs and recommend technology solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
- Translate technical concepts into clear business language for employees and leadership at all levels.
- Provide exceptional customer service while supporting end users throughout the organization.
Requirements
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, operating systems, hardware, software, and telecommunications.
- Experience managing IT projects from planning through implementation.
- Strong understanding of information security principles, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Experience managing technology vendors, contracts, and third-party service providers.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise IT technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other enterprise ERP systems.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, or multi-site organizations.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, virtualization, and modern cybersecurity best practices.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are a plus.
