Senior Project Manager (12-month contract)

Role responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of business and technology projects from initiation through to successful implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Drive project execution, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within scope.
• Proactively identify, manage, and remove delivery blockers to maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate closely with business, technology, operations, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and governance forums.
• Ensure projects adhere to established governance frameworks, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular communication and project updates.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and high performance across cross-functional teams.

Role requirements

• 8 – 10years experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex business and/or IT projects.
• Experience within the financial industry will be highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects in complex environments.
• Strong project planning, risk, issue, dependency, and budget management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and coordination skills across multiple teams and vendors.
• Experience working within structured project governance frameworks.
• A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to drive delivery while maintaining governance and control.
