Essential Job Functions:

Team Member Relations

  • You’ll create reusable knowledge from investigations by documenting key patterns, lessons, and guidance without compromising confidentiality.

Data Analysis, Reporting & Technology Use

  • You'll leverage team member relations data to generate strategic workforce insights and leading indicators, diagnose emerging trends and root causes quickly, and proactively implement solutions that mitigate risk and improve organizational health.
  • You’ll convert insights into practical actions such as targeted leader coaching, manager resources, policy updates, process changes, or focused listening.
  • You’ll use approved technology and AI tools in meaningful ways to support execution of your work from organizing information, conducting first-pass research, identifying patterns, drafting materials, and reducing routine administrative work where appropriate and in line with confidentiality guidelines.

 Legal Compliance

  • You'll keep Mercury ahead of the curve by staying current on State and Federal employment laws. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance postings, issuing required notices and acknowledgments, responding to subpoenas for records, liaising with the unemployment insurance claims vendor, coordinating with internal and external auditors, and collaborating with legal counsel.

  • You’ll continuously bring insights, trends, lessons learned, and best practices from cases and investigations to evolve and make policies relevant and future proof.
  • You’ll help the team build visible, reusable knowledge by documenting decisions, templates, guidance, and lessons learned in accessible locations.
