  • Analyze test data, document findings, and provide technical recommendations for anomaly resolution and system improvements.
  • Support test software development, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL), and software-in-the-loop (SWIL) to enable rocket motor verification.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related STEM field from an accredited college/university.
  • Four (4) to Seven (7) years of progressive experience in aerospace/defense test engineering.

  • Experience with HWIL and SWIL environments for propulsion and control system verification.
  • Strong background in test software development and automation and involvement in software and hardware integration activities, including troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in instrumentation and data acquisition (DAQ) systems, including setup, calibration, wiring and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to analyze large propulsion test data sets and generate meaningful conclusions.
  • Proven record of executing complex test operations with minimal supervision and the ability to lead small test teams; may act as a technical lead for subsystem or small-scale system-level rocket motor test campaigns.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills for contributions to technical documentation and reviews, including test reports, TRRs, PDRs and CDRs, post-test reviews and anomaly resolution boards.
