About the Role:

The Assistant Development Manager will play a key part in identifying, evaluating, and developing property opportunities that create long-term value. You’ll work across all stages of the development lifecycle—from research and acquisition to execution and delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project risks, issues, and compliance requirements, escalating where necessary.
- Conduct market, demographic, and competitor research to support project opportunities and bids.
- Assist with commercial assessments, contract administration, project reporting, and cost analysis.
About you:
We’re seeking someone with a collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for property development. You’ll bring experience from a similar role and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. Your ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities will be key to your success in this role.
- Experience in property development, project management, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across diverse groups.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach and genuine passion for property development and delivering high-quality outcomes.
About Us:
We are committed to developing and retaining the best people and provide the best possible learning and development opportunities. We are a company who thrive on our employee’s wellbeing, and offer benefits including:
- Health & Well-being program, including well-being leave to relax and recharge, health assessments, and gym/exercise discounts
- 26 weeks paid parental leave
- 3x extra Wellbeing days per year (on top of annual leave)
At Lendlease we offer workplaces that unite diverse minds; where respect, equitable treatment and equitable opportunity are just the norm. We remain committed to supporting under-represented groups and providing a wide range of inclusion initiatives, so that everyone is supported to thrive.
Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is reflected in our Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan, our Bronze Award with the Australian Workplace Equality Index by Pride in Diversity, and our generous parental leave policy of 26 weeks to any parent regardless of gender.
