About the Opportunity
An ultra-luxury mountain resort open year-round is looking for a Director of Food & Beverage. This person leads all food and beverage outlets, working closely with the Resort Manager and Executive Chef. The focus is exceptional guest experiences, strong financial results and a high-performing team.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets and support the Resort Manager in running the resort
• Set the F&B budget and manage revenue, costs and financial results
• Shape menus and wine lists, including content and pricing, with the Executive Chef and outlet managers
• Build relationships with local purveyors and manage purchasing
• Plan promotions and special events that drive business
• Lead recruitment, hiring, training and performance of all F&B colleagues
• Keep service polished, personalized and consistent across outlets through a visible floor presence and regular spot checks
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, health and safety standards
• Maintain strong controls on inventory, accounts and storage

 

Requirements

• 5+ years of F&B leadership experience, ideally in luxury hotels or resorts
• University degree in Hospitality or a related field
• Strong financial skills, including budgeting, P&L and cost control
• Proven track record leading multi-outlet operations and large teams
• Experience in high-touch guest relations environments
• Excellent communicator, internally and with outside partners and media
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
