Instructional Designer – JLL
 

What this job involves:

As a Instructional Designer at JLL, you will play a critical role in shaping the skills and capabilities of our technical workforce globally. This position focuses on developing high-quality, interactive e-learning courses and training materials for Engineering, CEM, and Mobile Engineering teams across diverse industry verticals including Data Centers, Industrial, and Life Sciences. Working closely with training directors and subject matter experts, you will create engaging learning experiences that enhance technical competency, improve retention, and reduce operational risk. Your work will directly contribute to JLL's commitment to excellence in service delivery and the professional development of our technical staff worldwide.
 

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Develop and modify interactive e-learning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, ensuring content is engaging and globally applicable

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and training directors to create and update training materials for Engineering, CEM, and Mobile Engineering programs

• Design individual and account-specific training plans, assessments, and scenario-based learning experiences focused on incident prevention and risk reduction

• Apply AI tools and innovative training methodologies to enhance e-learning development processes and content delivery

• Align technical training content with JLL's industry verticals (Data Centers, Industrial, Life Sciences) and integrate external partnerships including OEM certifications and vendor training

• Participate in projects supporting JLL's broader training initiatives

• Maintain brand consistency across all training materials while incorporating audio editing, visual design, and text-to-speech technologies
   

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design and e-learning content development

• Technical proficiency using e-learning authoring tools for interactive content creation (Articulate Storyline strongly preferred)

• Advanced written and verbal English communication skills level

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and incorporate feedback effectively

• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word

• Proven track record as a self-starter who consistently delivers high-quality outputs in fast-paced environments
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using AI tools to enhance e-learning development processes

• Additional certifications in instructional design and development

• Practical experience in JLL service delivery, particularly in training programs

• Basic understanding of visual design principles and ability to consistently apply brand guidelines

• Familiarity with audio editing tools and text-to-speech technologies

• Experience developing training content for technical or facilities management audiences

• Proven experience managing training projects from concept to completion
