The expected hiring range for this position is:
$41.43-$50.53.Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such the scope and responsibilities of the position, qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs.

About the Role:
Fermilab is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler who under direct supervision, provides planning and scheduling services to operations maintenance and utility engineering groups within the FESS Facility Management group. This role will be focused on providing necessary logistical support in executing maintenance work across the site.
What your day-to-day as a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will look like:
- Determining work plans based upon site-wide field trips, priority, available work force, and other criteria, and reviews plans and schedules with associated craft supervisors. (e.g. includes sump pump replacement, re-lamping of buildings, HVAC repairs and thermographic inspections.
- Reviewing corrective, preventive, predictive work for planning and scheduling in their assigned craft areas and provides time estimates and priorities to ensure backlog determination.
- Interfacing with customers, building managers, and division technical personnel when necessary and assists in developing and providing the daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term plans and schedules to building managers and the department management team.
- Coordinating parts and material acquisitions for planned work between the Store Room personnel and/or vendors concerning parts needs, status, tracking and follow-up.
- Utilizing (FAMIS) Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management and scheduling activities. This role will also be responsible for updating and adding equipment records into FAMIS. New equipment records and set up to include O&M manuals, spare parts listings, warranty information and preventive maintenance task list and frequencies.
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Abiding by and being responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position.
Essential Competencies and Attributes for Success:
- Associate’s Degree with a discipline in Facilities Management or related discipline
- A minimum 5 + years of experience.
Applicable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Experience in scheduling mechanical, electrical, HVAC or building envelope maintenance tasks.

- Onsite: This is an onsite role, and the candidate must be able to work from our Batavia Office.
