Trinity Services Group is seeking an experienced Dining Room Manager to lead high-volume dining room operations with professionalism, confidence, and a strong commitment to exceptional hospitality. The Dining Room Manager is responsible for overseeing daily dining room operations during assigned shifts, ensuring service standards, client satisfaction, staffing, and operational flow are executed at a high level. This position requires a visible leadership presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to coach and guide team members in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Oversee dining room operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficient service, strong guest satisfaction, and consistent execution of company standards.
- Provide active floor leadership by monitoring service flow, supporting guest recovery, addressing operational needs, and maintaining a professional dining environment.
- Lead, train, coach, and mentor serving line staff to ensure team members understand expectations and deliver consistent service.
- Create and manage staff schedules, shift coverage, and training plans based on business volume and operational needs.
- Participate in staffing activities, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, performance coaching, and performance management.
- Maintain strong knowledge of kitchen policies, procedures, service standards, and operational expectations.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with team members, leadership, clients, the Assistant Food Service Director, and the Food Service Director to support smooth service execution.
- Manage inventory for service ware, food products, and operational supplies, including accurate counts, ordering, and cost awareness aligned with budget expectations.
- Place food orders and conduct inventory to support daily operations and business needs.
- Support menu planning and meal development as needed to meet operational and service requirements.
- Maintain awareness of dining room functions, staffing needs, service pacing, and overall operational readiness.
- Uphold brand standards through consistent coaching, accountability, and professional conduct.
- Lead and support food and beverage operations across multiple locations within city limits as needed.
- Manage, support, and provide direction to a team of more than 15 staff members.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
- A minimum of three years of restaurant or dining room management experience in a high-volume environment. Operational knowledge of service flow, staffing, scheduling, guest recovery, and team development.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience training staff and managing schedules.
- Comfort using computer systems Microsoft applications, to create reports and manage operational data.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have a ServSafe certification, a food handler's card, or prior proof of such documentation.
