What this opportunity involves:

 

JLL is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to join our Property & Asset Management team, managing a commercial asset within the Growthpoint Portfolio. This is a key leadership role requiring a strategic, client-focussed professional who can deliver operational excellence while building strong stakeholder relationships.

As the off-site key point of contact for facilities and building management, you will be responsible for ensuring the asset operates to the highest standards, meeting client expectations and JLL's commitment to best practice.

 

 

An overview of the role:  

·       Proactively engage with stakeholders and attend monthly/quarterly client meetings

·       Manage vendors and contractors to deliver services on time and within budget, including KPI monitoring and tender processes

·       Oversee site financial operations, budgets, and variance reporting

·       Ensure compliance with health and safety statutory regulations, including JLL Permit to Work programme

·       Implement industry best practice operations and continuous improvement initiatives

·       Provide 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance when required

·       Liaise with tenants on lease-related issues and support tenant retention

·       Manage risk management programmes, audits, and business continuity plans

 

 

Sound like you?  This is what we’re looking for: 

·       Minimum 10 years' experience in facilities management

·       Strong customer-centric focus with proven stakeholder management capabilities

·       Demonstrable financial acumen and budget management experience

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines

·       Technical understanding of AC systems, Fire Protection, Mechanical & Electrical systems, and BMS

·       Previous experience in a similar role

·       Understanding of lease requirements
