RightEye, a leading firm in the optometry industry, is seeking a Records Management Associate who will be responsible for the organization and management of important records, ensuring they are stored securely, accurately, and in compliance with established procedures and regulations. The role requires a professional with strong organizational skills and an eye for detail. Confidentiality, integrity, and discretion are essential traits required for this position. Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining accurate, organized and complete digital and physical records. Classifying and indexing records for ease of reference and efficient retrieval. Ensuring the integrity of information by following strict privacy and security protocols. Developing and implementing policies and procedures for records management. Perform regular audits to ensure that procedures and regulations are strictly followed. Provide staff training on records management procedures and policies, including compliance with legislative requirements. Ensuring the company meets the legal obligations for the storing and safeguarding of information. Managing and executing archival activities of obsolete records, whilst ensuring required data is effectively retained. Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Records Management or a related field. Proven experience in a records management role or a position requiring strong organizational and analytical skills. Knowledge of records management procedures and legislation. Proficiency in data management systems and computer applications. Excellent organizational and coordination abilities. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
