Mandatory Requirement:

5+ years of experience in presales, tender management, business development, or government/ institutional sales.

Strong experience in handling GeM and other e-procurement platforms such as SAP, Ariba, or CPP.

Proven ability to prepare bids, proposals, presentations, and commercial submissions for Government or large enterprise clients.
Role Overview:
Responsible for driving presales and business development activities for Government and PSU accounts by managing the end-to-end tendering process, supporting strategic bid decisions, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and delivering high-quality proposals and presentations. The role requires strong expertise in e-procurement platforms, bid management, client engagement,
commercial evaluation, and market analysis to improve win rates, profitability, and business growth.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Drive presales and business development initiatives for Government Organizations, PSUs, and key institutional accounts.

Manage the complete tender lifecycle across GeM and other e-procurement platforms,
-
including opportunity analysis, vendor registration, bid preparation, submission, reverse auctions, and contract documentation.

Prepare client-focused proposals, presentations, bid documents, and commercial submissions in line with tender requirements.

Conduct risk assessment, cost estimation, and financial analysis to support decision-making and maintain bid profitability.

Coordinate with internal teams including sales, operations, legal, finance, and management to ensure timely and compliant bid submissions.

Review tender documents, LOAs, SLAs, and contractual terms to ensure regulatory and commercial compliance.

Maintain and optimize CRM systems to track leads, client interactions, bid progress, and management reporting.

Support strategic planning through market intelligence, competitor analysis, and identification of high-potential opportunities.

Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements, strengthen relationships, and improve conversion outcomes.

Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and record-keeping throughout the bid and contract management process.

Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to generate leads and expand the business pipeline.

Achieve assigned business growth, bid success, and revenue targets.
Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
